I think it's a given you wouldn't have gone to the party! You didn't even come to the club during OU/Tx! :) I think I would've had fun if I'd gone with Leal or Claire or someone. It would've been a blast. I hate going to parties where partying isn't the point, and you just end up standing around talking to people. I could do that at some time other than 11:00 on a Friday night and be a lot better at it since I'd be more awake! At the big party, they were there for one reason: To party. The news reporters were even particular in pronouncing the car-NEE-vahl spirit in the air. Andy Horton managed to assume control of the TelePrompters, even if only momentarily to spread his message of carNEEvahl to the masses.

I don't really care that I didn't go though. I just feel weird about not really having wanted to go. I don't do much of anything these days.

 
Jessi, the Nevadans are indeed voting on decriminializing pot. Proposition 9 would amend the state constitution, making having up to 3 oz. of pot legal with no threat of jail or fine. The state would set up a market for selling pot, and the restrictions would include things like no advertising, no indulging around gaming, and no driving while under the influence. It may pass, but it would still be against federal law. There are two weed-related propositions. 9 & 53. 53 is medicinal, so it hasn't gotten as much attention. It looks like both may pass, though.

 
p.s. e - as far as i know nevada is decriminalizing weed. it's not "leagal" you just won't go to jail for it. kinda like the "needle park" that the sweeds have. i think it's there anyway. just needed to set 'cha straight!!! and i wouldn't have gone to that party either.....

tulsa will be fun. you know i haven't considered it home for a long time. i consider norman home before tulsa. you are a nomad! or are you a gypsy? have you read the fowlka's posts today? very interesting. someday i hope to have a life changing experience to broaden my ideas about the world. i have lot of respect for those fellas. living in NYC would be so great. maybe someday right? i think mia is going to put off grad school for a year and live out there for a while. she'll be able to afford it doing retail pharmacy!

 
I leave November 7th. I miss Tulsa, but I finally don't consider it home. The strange thing is that I don't really consider L.A. home, either. I need to earn a lot of money so that living in New York will no longer be a stupid idea.

I just watched Rocky again. I love that movie.

I still have yet to take my drug test. I wanted to start training this week, but my trip to Tulsa was going to make me miss the last two days, so I'll start after I return.

I've been writing notes on how I think the show should be structured and stuff, but Amy and I have yet to sit down and hammer out the details. Understandably, of course. She has had a lot of work the past couple days, and I had a little work myself, writing a piece for the AFI.

Joanna Rapf loves me not. She still hasn't returned my e-mail. *sigh*

Apparently, I'm going to help a Groundlings member write a script also. Amy said that someone had seen one of this person's sketches and invited her to develop it for a sitcom and pitch it.

Amy is doing more work for my career than I am. All I do is look through classifieds all day.
